The Black Hole (1979)

After the tremendous success of Star Wars in 1977, disney commission The Black Hole in 1979.  The Black Hole was made which boasted a fantastic  SciFi story about a ship lost on the edge of a Black Hole housing evil robots and a crazed commander. 

I remember this one well. It was fantastic in vision and awful in execution. I think if it were made by the Matrix production team, they'd have a monster hit. The problem is that the movie was tinny and awful (especially the robots) but at the core of it was a great idea.
